Hello GEO members! On behalf of GEO, I wanted to warmly welcome you to GEOconnect, our newest member benefit.
GEOconnect is a private and secure online community where GEO members can interact with one another wherever and whenever!
GEOconnect will officially launch on 15 May—following GEO’s 15th Annual Conference in Miami, FL, at which time discussions in the community will also begin. In the meantime, there are two simple steps you can take now to quickly take advantage of this new tool:
1. Update your profile by clicking on the link to import your LinkedIn profile (to save uploading your photo and bio again etc). If you don't have a LinkedIn profile, simply enter your information on the profile page.
2. Use the member directory to search for other GEO members and send them a "Contact Request". If you're unsure on how to do this, search for me ("Robyn Shutak") and send me a Contact request by clicking on the link next to my name in the search results.
GEOconnect is an evolving community—new tools and features to enhance your experience will be introduced in the coming weeks and months. Stay tuned for more and enjoy all that the site has to offer now and at launch on the 15th!
