Beth Murphree joined International Paper in June 1995. During her twenty-four years at International Paper, she has been fortunate to have held several positions. For the first five years, she was a Benefit Analyst in the Employee Benefits Department. She then joined the SAP payroll conversion project. Upon completion, she transferred into the Finance organization where she performed the accounting for the equity and incentive plans. Beth has since moved back into the Human Resources organization working on the Executive Compensation team, where she assists in managing the global equity plan, administered by Morgan Stanley. She also plays a key role in training and communicating key compensation initiatives around the globe.
During Beth’s twenty-four year tenure at International Paper, the company awarded her the Financial Excellence Award, the Human Resources Excellence Award and a Strategic Drivers Award.
Beth received her Bachelor of Science in Business Human Resource Management from Mississippi State University and currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
