Laine is a Partner on the Talent and Rewards Communication Best Practices team in Aon Hewitt’s Communication Practice. She is based in our Washington, D.C. office.
In her role as a national expert in talent communication, she works with clients on the successful implementation of pay and performance programs for employees and executives. She has deep experience in educating leaders, HR and managers on their role in program decisions, administration and employee conversations; marketing reward and performance programs to employees and executives; and helping organizations manage and implement program design changes. Across these topics, she has extensive experience in implementing and promoting new media solutions to educate, motivate and drive behavior change for her clients. The ultimate goal is to engage participants to make the most of their pay and performance programs, help drive individual and company results, and provide higher value for the companies making the investment in their people.
As one of our thought leaders in this area, Laine has presented on the value of communication as a key influencer of employee engagement at WorldatWork’s Total Rewards Conference. Her internal focus is on providing Aon Hewitt colleagues with the support to leverage best practices across our client base. Laine also has lead a number of talent and reward communication projects at clients including Amtrak, Axalta, Citrix, Danaher, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, International Monetary Fund, Hilton Worldwide, Marriott International, Mylan, Sallie Mae, Sodexo, Summit Materials and The Walt Disney Company.
Prior to her work at Aon Hewitt, Laine began her career in development, leading fundraising and alumni outreach programs at universities and hospitals. Following that, she worked at another leading HR consulting firm in their communication practice in the New York and Washington, D.C. markets with a primary focus on rewards communication, training and implementation. Laine received her M.B.A. from the A.B. Freeman School of Business at Tulane University and a B.A. from Wake Forest University.
