Joe Cavallaro is Vice President for Total Rewards for Danaher Corporation. Headquartered in Washington, DC, Danaher is a Fortune 200 global science and technology company with over 70,000 employees and sales of approximately $20 Billion.
Joe is responsible for Danaher’s total rewards strategy, ensuring that associate compensation and benefit programs support the company’s strategic direction and business outcomes and enable the company to attract, retain, reward, and mobilize top talent globally. His specific areas of accountability include executive compensation, broad-based equity, incentive and base compensation, and retirement and health and welfare benefits. Since joining Danaher in 2012, Joe has played a key role in redesigning Danaher’s compensation programs and processes, including executive short and long-term incentives, broad-based equity compensation, and executive and broad-based compensation planning processes.
Joe has over 25 years of progressive compensation and benefits leadership experience in both industry and consulting roles. Before joining Danaher, Joe led human resources globally for a $3 Billion unit of the Dow Chemical Company and prior to this he headed compensation and benefits for the Rohm and Haas Company. Joe has a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from George Mason University and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Public Administration from Virginia Tech.
