I am currently Sr. Director, Benefits, Executive Compensation, and Long Term Incentives at SunPower Corporation. In this role, I lead the design, implementation and management of global employee benefits, executive compensation and global equity and restricted cash programs for the company.
Prior to joining SunPower, I spent my career at Motorola and Freescale Semiconductor, serving in numerous roles in Finance and Accounting, including extensive cost accounting, financial analysis, and internal audit experience. After crunching numbers for many years, I found my calling in the HR Compensation & Benefits field, where I could combine my analytical skills with my passion for people.
I'm an alumni of The University of Texas at Austin (hook'em horns), where I earned a Master in Accounting degree with a specialization in Tax and have earned professional licenses as a Certified Internal Auditor and a Certified Public Accountant. To this day, I still live by the motto, "numbers don't lie". I enjoy opportunities for professional development and networking and am a member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals and the Global Equity Organization. I have participated as a speaker at NECF, GEO’s international conferences, as well as the European Stock Ownership Centre Conference.
My areas of expertise include executive compensation program design and administration, executive compensation governance and regulatory compliance, compensation committee consulting, equity program design and administration, and broad-based compensation program design and administration. Other areas of interest include HR analytics, diversity and leadership, employee engagement, and employee wellness (having recently picked up Benefits programs).
Personal interests include travel, art, history, live music, and fitness. I'm a busy wife and mother juggling 3 kids. These days I'm into spin classes and am a semi-decent cross-fitter, which helps me maintain my fitness and grit.
