Kate Daniels has worked in equity compensation for over 15 years with experience in stock plan and ESPP administration for multinational plan sponsors. She has a broad range of stock administration experience including new broker implementation, Section 16 reporting, proxy reporting and daily management of these programs for several corporate issuers.
Currently Kate works for Fair Isaac Corporation (FICO) as their Manager of Stock Administration. In this role she manages the daily operations of their Global Equity Programs, performs Section 16 reporting, proxy reporting, monitoring trades by “Insiders” and determining taxation for mobile participants.
Prior to joining FICO, Kate worked as a Managing Director for ISP Advisors. In this role she assisted several clients with the daily management of the stock administration function, plan analysis and recommendations, vendor searches, and new broker implementation projects.
Kate also worked as the Supervisor, Stock Plan Administration for Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc. where she managed their Global ESPP and Equity plans for participants in over ten countries, and had other responsibilities including handling day-to-day transaction activity, documenting processes and procedures, compliance with SOX controls, and obtaining tax guidance for all global and mobile participants. She has previously worked for Qualcomm Incorporated where she completed SEC filings for Section 16 officers and directors, handled ESPP administration, administered the Executive Retirement Contribution Match Plan and compiled and produced the Equity Compensation and Beneficial Ownership Tables for the proxy statement as well as managed the cash retainers and equity to the board of directors.
Kate is an active member of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals (NASPP) and the Global Equity Organization (GEO), as well as a member of the NASPP Executive Advisory Committee.
