Marshall Vance is an assistant professor at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business. Prior to joining USC, Dr. Vance earned a doctorate in accounting from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Marshall’s research focus includes studying the design and performance effects of equity compensation plans. His research has received multiple awards from the American Accounting Association, and he currently holds the Fidelity Investments fellowship for research in equity compensation. Marshall lives in Glendale, California, with his wife and four children.
