Maria Robins is a professional with over thirty years’ experience in sales support for executive services, marketing and communications within the equity compensation financial services industry. Maria works in the newly rebranded Morgan Stanley at Work organization where she heads up Industry Relations, Thought Leadership efforts, Business Communications and Event Strategy. Maria has deep connections within the industry and academia and collaborates with thought leaders to bring insightful relevant information to clients and prospects in the area of equity compensation and executive services. Maria is a member of several industry organizations including the NYC GEO Board, the NY/NJ NASPP chapter, the NASPP Executive Advisory Council and the NY/NJ Center for Employee Ownership at Rutgers University, School of Management and Labor Relations. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley, Maria held positions at Merrill Lynch, working with high net worth clients and Investment Bankers to help create what is now called the Private Banking Division. Maria is a graduate of Montclair State University and holds Series 7,24,63 and 66 licenses.
Maria has been involved with the GEO organization for many years. Since joining the NYC chapter in 2009, she has been part of a team that has been recognized with two GEO chapter excellence awards and is currently very involved in the planning and execution of the first GEO NYC/CEPI conference scheduled for July 24, 2019.
Personally, Maria is an avid runner, having completed 3 NYC Marathons, and currently participates in half marathons and Sprint Triathlons in the summer months. Maria is a proud single mom raising her 16-year-old daughter and caring for her 95-year-old awesome Italian mom!
