Robert Williams is a Senior Manager in KPMG’s Global Reward Services (GRS) group based in New York City. Robert has over 17 years’ experience in the global mobility and global equity tax space. His recent areas of focus deal with tax settlement and global payroll tax compliance obligations related to equity compensation awards sourced to multiple jurisdictions, design and implementation of operational processes pertaining to equity compensation awards earned in multiple jurisdictions, income and corporate tax feasibility analyses for multi-national companies deploying share-based compensation to participants in new countries, and global corporate tax deduction optimization advisory with respect to share-based compensation.
Before joining the New York City office, Robert worked for KPMG in Short Hills, New Jersey, Frankfurt and Munich, Germany, and completed a four-year assignment to KPMG’s Basel and Zurich, Switzerland offices. Robert also worked for Goldman Sachs as a mobility tax professional.
Robert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Notre Dame, is a designated IRS Enrolled Agent, and a member of the Global Equity Organization (GEO).
