Gary Elbaum leads the global operations of Citi's equity and deferred compensation programs covering employees in 95 countries. His team administers deferred and restricted stock awards, stock options, deferred cash, performance plans, and phantom stock programs on Citi's proprietary equity administration system. Gary is a member of a steering committee responsible for global legal, tax and financial compliance of Citi's deferred award programs. Gary's expertise is instrumental in driving the strategy and design of Citi's equity compensation system. Gary earned his CEP in 2007 and has managed various aspects of Citi's equity and deferred compensation programs for over a dozen years. Prior to joining Citi, Gary worked as a consultant for PwC, providing HR operations and employee benefits consulting and outsourcing services to Fortune 100 clients. Gary has a BS in finance from Yeshiva University.
