Carla is a member of the Novartis Business Services US Compensation Team, currently serving as the Lead Compensation Business Partner supporting Alcon. She acts as local subject matter expert; consulting with HRBPs and functional partners to identify understand, and address issues related to Compensation.

Prior to joining Novartis, Carla was the Manager Rewards Administration & Equity Compensation at Halliburton where she led a highly successful team overseeing Stock Plans, Stock Purchase Plans, Incentive Pay Plans and Ancillary Benefits Programs. She also worked in a variety of roles at Hewitt Associates and Exult, Inc. (now Aon Hewitt). She has supported numerous Fortune 500 companies, including; BP, Prudential Financial, Starbucks, Continental Airlines, Marriott International, and PepsiCo. Her experience includes Benefits Administration, Compensation Administration, Performance Management, Learning Administration and design and administration of Recognition Awards Programs. Her career in outsourcing allowed her to develop expert proficiency in process design and improvement, vendor governance, customer service, process automation and project management.
