Kimberly Hackman is the Sr. Manager, Employee Investment Services at Amazon.com based in Seattle, Washington and has more than 18+ years of experience in global equity and retirement programs. Prior to joining Amazon.com, she held positions at Starbucks Coffee Company, Expedia, Inc., Alaska Airlines and Getty Images, Inc.
In her current role, Kimberly is responsible for the global program strategy, oversight, and operations of Amazon’s global broad-based equity compensation programs to over 450k employees in over 52 countries, oversight of the US 401(k) program with 250k eligible employee and $6.4B assets under management, in addition to the 70+ international retirement/pension plans. Under her leadership, Kimberly ensures global compliance in all programs along with the efficient administration and operations of these plans worldwide including adherence to corporate policies, regulatory and legal compliance worldwide, and employee education and communication
She obtained her Certified Equity Professional designation from Santa Clara University's CEP Institute. Kim has served as a member of the Board of Directors for GEO and participates in the Issuer Advisory Council. She has also served with the Seattle Chapter of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals for over 8 years; 6 years as President, 2 years as Vice-President of Programs. Kimberly has been a speaker at many equity compensation events including GEO and NASPP and a winner of the 2016 and 2014 GEO Award for “Best Use of Technology” at Amazon.com and 2008 GEO Awards for “Best in Financial Education” during her time at Starbucks Coffee Company.
