After 18 years working in the world of taxation, with a particular interest in employment taxation, Pat moved into the share plan community. Originally as a share plan consultant at Mercer, and then in 2002 she joined Orange (later to become France Telecom) to support the in-house share plan team. Pat then moved to Rio Tinto in 2009, and in January 2015 decided to work on a freelance and consultancy basis. Since then, Pat has provided support to a number of global companies on their share plans, and related projects. This includes Pearson, Vodafone, AstraZeneca, BT, Nokia, J Sainsbury's, Rio Tinto and currently Avast plc. Pat is an active member and supporter of both GEO and ProShare, and speaks at their conferences and other conferences and seminars on a regular basis.
