Ben is a Senior Associate in BDO’s Compensation & Benefits Consulting practice in Chicago. He specializes in executive tax and global equity matters. As part of the executive tax practice, Ben is actively advising clients on tax technical matters (including, but not limited to, Internal Revenue Code Sections 280G, 409A, 162(m)) as well as items related to tax reform. As part of the global equity practice, Ben has worked with BDO International Member Firms to routinely provide guidance on equity related transactions in over 30 jurisdictions. The BDO International Member Firm network provides access to expertise in 160+ countries around the globe.
Prior to joining BDO, Ben had over three years of experience consulting in a compensation & benefits capacity. He provided M&A compensation and benefits due diligence support to public and private companies; designed long-term and annual incentive plans; provided compensation benchmarking analyses for individuals at varying levels throughout the organization (e.g., directors, executives, broad based population); and assisted with benefits consulting pursuant to ERISA and the Affordable Care Act.
