Scott is a Senior Manager in Amazon’s Worldwide Tax Reporting and Compliance team where he is primarily responsible for the global corporate tax treatment and related income tax accounting impact of Amazon’s employee compensation arrangements, including Stock-based compensation. Scott has over 25 years of experience working with tax-qualified employee benefit plans, executive compensation arrangements, non-qualified deferred compensation plans, equity compensation arrangements, payroll processing, and information systems relating to payroll, human resources and employee benefits. Prior to joining Amazon in February 2016 Scott spent 15 years working in the Global Employer Services group of Deloitte Tax where he assisted companies with a variety of tax and compensation-related issues including ASC 718, 162(m) computations, employee global mobility compensation management, fringe benefits, and payroll compliance issues. Other work experience prior to Deloitte includes two years as an internal auditor (Federated Department Stores) and six years as a manager of employee compensation and benefits (Federated Department Stores and Eagle Picher Industries).
