Angela leads the administration of Johnson Controls’ equity programs for approximately 5,000 global participants. A member of the Legal team, she is also responsible for managing the insider trading compliance function and pre-clearance of D&O transactions, Section 16(b) reporting, shareholder relations for ~40,000 retail shareholders, and managing the stock transfer agent relationship. Angela has led numerous equity program initiatives, including expansion of the restricted stock program globally. As such, she has extensive experience with global tax compliance and mobility tracking issues. These days, Angela spends her time leading workstreams pertaining to two of the largest corporate actions in Johnson Controls’ 131-year history: a spin-off of its $22 billion Automotive Seating business, and a $17 billion reverse merger whereby the combined company, re-named Johnson Controls plc, will be domiciled in Ireland. Both transactions are expected to close prior to October 3, 2016, subject to regulatory and/or shareholder approvals.
Angela received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She is on the Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Chapter of the NASPP, is a former Board member of the Midwest Stock Transfer Association, and is an active member of the Global Equity Organization (GEO) and Shareholder Services Association (SSA). Angela resides in Milwaukee, WI with her husband and three children.
