Nicholas Greenacre is a partner of White & Case and Global Head of Employment & Benefits. He is located in the London office. He provides employee benefits and pensions advice and has had experience in a broad range of matters for clients of all sizes, from technology start-ups to global investment banks.
Nicholas advises clients from various jurisdictions on the design and international implementation of equity and cash-based incentive plans. This work involves investigation and analysis of the securities, tax, foreign exchange, employment, data privacy and e-commerce issues clients may encounter in each country where they operate their plans. He also handles the incentives and pensions aspects on a variety of major corporate transactions, including advising on UK pensions issues in the context of large leveraged buyouts and subsequent restructurings and setting up new equity incentive plans in preparation for a number of high-profile IPOs.
Nicholas is a former main director of the Global Equity Organisation and co-leader of its UK & Channel Islands Chapter. He is also a member of Global Stock Plans Task Force of the National Association of Stock Plan Professionals, a member of Share Plan Lawyers and an associate member of the Association of Pensions Lawyers.
